Lately, I regularly receive updates from
Apple Software Update for
Safari. I don't have
Safari on my computer, only
iTunes, and I don't want to install
Safari either. So if you're like me and want to stop receiving further updates regarding
Safari, here's what you do:
- Open Apple Software Update
- Select the update for Safari
- Go to Tools
- Select Ignore Selected Updates
If somewhere down the line you do want to start receiving Safari updates again, just go back to Apple Software Update, Tools, and select Restore Ignored Updates.
